Here&#8217;s why you&#8217;re not too late if you missed the breakout.<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Household name Tesla ($TSLA) delivered record earnings results last week, sparking a massive, post-earnings breakout on October 25.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That day, $TSLA broke out from an eight-month base, with an explosive gap +12% higher.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Volume surged 240% higher, confirming the breakout and institutional accumulation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The breakaway-like gap up $TSLA formed on Oct. 25 was a clear buy signal, and should lead to higher prices over the next few months (if overall market conditions remain bullish): <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Don&#8217;t fret if you missed the huge $TSLA breakout entry&#8211;Morpheus has you covered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Just <em>continue reading<\/em> to see three alternate buy points into $TSLA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"3_potential_buy_points_into_TSLA\"><\/span>3 potential buy points into $TSLA<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The most obvious buy point was the monster gap on October 25, but there are always alternate entry points if you miss a stock breakout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are three ideal entry points to monitor for potential $TSLA buy entry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"1_Above_the_high_of_the_gap_up_day_Oct_25\"><\/span>1. Above the high of the gap up day (Oct. 25)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>After a stock gaps up sharply from a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/new.morpheustrading.com\/blog\/best-stock-breakouts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">valid basing pattern<\/a><\/strong>, a move above the high of the gap up day is a valid buy entry on strength.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some of the stronger gap ups often follow through to build on their gains without much of a pause.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A move above the high of the gap up day is buyable because bullish momentum remains strong in these cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"2_Pullback_to_psychological_support_of_1000\"><\/span>2. Pullback to psychological support of $1,000<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p> When discussing to support and resistance, we are typically referring to technical levels on a chart that are expected to provide price support or resistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, large round numbers often act as &#8220;psychological&#8221; support or resistance levels as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before Tesla&#8217;s recent breakout, I occasionally heard typical investors mention things like, &#8220;Tesla is going to break $1,000.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Even though $1,000 was never an actual technical resistance level you can see on a chart, it was &#8220;psychological resistance&#8221; because the number meant something in investors&#8217; heads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now that $TSLA has broken above $1,000, investors are likely to view any pullback to the $1,000 area as a &#8220;buying opportunity&#8221; for the same reason.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The $1,000 level becomes support because of a self-fulfilling prophecy caused by the masses thinking the $1,000 mark actually matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As such, consider buying $TSLA on any pullback to the $1,000 &#8220;psychological support&#8221; level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The potential entry points above the October 25 high <em>or<\/em> a pullback to the $1,000 level are shown below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.morpheustrading.com\/~rick\/\/charts\/2021\/211027TSLA2.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.morpheustrading.com\/~rick\/\/charts\/2021\/211027TSLA2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"724\" height=\"551\" title=\"\"><\/a><figcaption><em>Press chart to view full-sized image<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"3_Pullback_to_20-EMA_on_hourly_chart\"><\/span>3.
