class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Our general swing trading strategy is to buy\u00a0stocks that have formed some sort of <strong>bullish basing pattern<\/strong> over the past four or more weeks (strategy details\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.morpheustrading.com\/blog\/best-stock-breakouts\/\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>These consolidating stocks should usually be <strong>within 20-30% of their\u00a0<span class=\"__postbox-detected-content __postbox-detected-date\">52-week<\/span> highs,<\/strong> and have solid or improving earnings and revenue growth over the past few quarters.<\/p>\n<p>When a stock meets the criteria above (and passes our min. price and volume filters), we add it to our <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.morpheustrading.com\/services\/swing-trade-alerts\" target=\"_blank\">Wagner Daily<\/a><\/em> watchlist for potential buy entry.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Acacia_Communications_ACIA\"><\/span><strong>Acacia Communications ($ACIA)<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>$ACIA has been basing out the past few weeks, after blasting more than 100% higher in a short period of time.<\/p>\n<p>The price of this stock<em>\u00a0doubled in six weeks,<\/em> which is a great sign of bullish momentum.<\/p>\n<p>The current base of consolidation is a bit shorter than we prefer (only three weeks), but $ACIA could still be off to the races for another leg up <em>if<\/em> it clears the $130 level to a new high:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.morpheustrading.com\/\/%7Erick\/\/charts\/2014\/160904ACIA.png\" alt=\"$ACIA daily\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"GoDaddy_GDDY\"><\/span><strong>GoDaddy\u00a0($GDDY)<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>$GDDY, the domain registration and web hosting giant, has been forming a bullish base for the past five weeks.<\/p>\n<p>The 50-day moving average (MA) has been rising to provide support below, while the 10, 20, and 50-day moving\u00a0averages are all in the right order.<\/p>\n<p>The catalyst for this setup is the strong move off the lows over two sessions in early August (4th and 5th).<\/p>\n<p>On the chart below, note the huge volume on both August 4 and 5, which point to institutional accumulation that may soon lead to another buying spree that pushes the stock higher.<\/p>\n<p>As long as the price holds above the 50-day MA\u00a0(on a closing basis), the buy setup should remain valid:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.morpheustrading.com\/\/%7Erick\/\/charts\/2014\/160904GDDY.png\" alt=\"$GDDY daily\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Huttig_Building_Products_HBP\"><\/span><strong>Huttig Building Products\u00a0($HBP)<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Like $GDDY above, $HBP has settled into a tight-ranged consolidation that may soon resolve itself as a continuation of the dominant uptrend.<\/p>\n<p>Look for a move above the upper channel of the downtrend line (above $6.30 and the <span class=\"__postbox-detected-content __postbox-detected-date\">10-day<\/span>\u00a0MA) to generate some buying interest:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.morpheustrading.com\/\/%7Erick\/\/charts\/2014\/160904HBP.png\" alt=\"$HBP daily\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Atlassian_Corp_TEAM\"><\/span><strong>Atlassian Corp ($TEAM)<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The last\u00a0potential stock to buy on this\u00a0list is $TEAM, a <a href=\"https:\/\/searchcloudcomputing.techtarget.com\/definition\/Software-as-a-Service\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SAAS provider<\/a> that caters to software development teams.<\/p>\n<p>On the\u00a0<em>weekly\u00a0<\/em>(not daily) chart below, note the gentle pullback to the rising 10-week MA\u00a0(similar to 50-day MA)<\/p>\n<p>Over the years, we have found that a pullback to the 10-week\/50-day MA in a leading growth stock tends to\u00a0trigger institutional buying.<\/p>\n<p>As such, $TEAM may provide a low-risk buy entry on any minor dip to the area of its 10-week MA (with a stop below lows of the recent base):<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.morpheustrading.com\/\/%7Erick\/\/charts\/2014\/160904TEAM.png\" alt=\"$TEAM daily\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>Overall, market conditions remain favorable for swing and position trading on the long side.<\/p>\n<p>However, be aware that yesterday&#8217;s (September 7) bearish distribution day in Semiconductor ETF ($SMH) may drag the NASDAQ\u00a0lower if weakness follows\u00a0through to the downside.<\/p>\n<p>Nevertheless, each of the four stocks above offer solid profit
